The Grainger Approved Pin Gage is a precision measuring instrument used to check the size of holes, slots, grooves and other internal dimensions. It has a hardened and precision ground gage pin that is 0.140 inches in diameter with a tolerance of +/- 0.00005 inches. The pin is made of hardened and polished tool steel with a knurled grip handle made of corrosion resistant chrome plated steel. It can measure hole sizes between 0.1395 and 0.1405 inches. This pin gage allows for quick and accurate measurement and is ideal for use in production environments when checking dimensional accuracy during manufacturing processes. The gage pin is serialized for traceability.
